The Goddess Tarot

En plein retour à mes chers oracles, je suis tombée sur The Goddess Tarot Deck, de Kriss Waldherr. Je n'en avais jamais entendu parler.

Son site permet d'avoir un aperçu au travers d'un tirage en ligne. Je l'ai interroger sur les projets professionnels qui se dessinent pour moi. Voici les réponses:

Card 1 symbolizes the past: Four of Staves

The suit of staves is related to Freyja, the Norse goddess of creativity, fertility, and beauty. Like conduits of the sun’s procreative force, staves channel energy to areas where it can encourage growth. Staves bring movement to a reading, much like the movement displayed by Freyja as she rides through the sky in her chariot drawn by magical gray cats. Pragmatic goddess that she is, Freyja is associated with the Aesir, a group of Norse gods and goddesses who came into existence with the Iron Age, when the first tools and weapons were developed with forge and fire.

MEANING:
Stability of ventures. A new home. Accomplishing goals, and enjoying them with satisfaction. First success of a new venture. Putting down roots.

Effectivement, après un déménagement, le démarrage de nouveaux projets, c'est de racines dont il est question dans mon quotidien! De définir des objectif clairs aussi, et des priorités.

Card 2 represents the present: The World

GODDESS: Gaia
In ancient Greece, the earth was personified as Gaia, a goddess who existed before all life and created all life. The story of Gaia reminds us of the interconnection of all of the world - and the importance of living in harmony with her resources.

MEANING:
Experiencing connection with the universe, the source which nurtures us all. A sense of expansion and hope. Travel and communications. Career expansions.  Hope.

Et effectivement, ce sont en ce moment des nouveaux liens qui apparaissent, des nouvelles relations. De nouvelles habitudes, et accessoirement, mais c'est essentiel, petit à petit, je réussi à vivre un peu plus près de mes préoccupations environnementales - dans la mesure de ce qui est possible de faire ici, bien sur. Et je suis très contente d'avoir tiré cette carte représentant Gaïa. Ca rejoint l'interprétation que j'avais donné de mon dessin d'Arbre.

Card 3 suggests the future: Five of Pentacles

The suit of pentacles is associated with Lakshmi, the Hindu goddess of fortune and prosperity. Pentacles, as gold and shiny as the sparkling jewels Lakshmi is so fond of, symbolize the riches contained within the earth. The suit of pentacles can be thought of as the grand harvest that arrives after we master the lessons of the previous three suits. Pentacles tell the story of the bounty of the earth—so often symbolized in many cultures as a generous earth goddess. Lakshmi, the Hindu personification of this fertile, prosperous, and distinctly feminine force, is honored to this day for these very qualities.

MEANING:
An experience of poverty that forces one to look within for greater resources. This poverty may be personified as a lack of wealth or in a sense of emotional sterility.

C'est pas le passé ça par hazar? Je sais bien que la réussite professionnelle n'est pas tout dans la vie, ce n'est pas pour rien que j'ai laissé de côté cette idée depuis longtemps. Mais il n'y a pas que réussite "professionnelle". ce que je voudrais c'est enfin arriver à mener a bien mes projets. Mener a bien veut dire tout d'abord à terme. Avoir l'occasion d'expérimenter de nouvelles choses, et pas seulement de stagner, de tourner en rond, de toujours recommencer. Bien sûr, en recommençant, on apprend, mais même en apprenant soi-même, il y a des situations que l'on ne peut changer. Ou alors changer de cap? Je me suis maintes fois posé la question. Chaque jour je me pose la question.
Oui, de vraies richesses. En moi. Oui. Mais cela suffit-il a aller de l'avant?   

Card 4 suggests an overview:Princess of Swords

The suit of swords is associated with Isis, the Egyptian fertility goddess. Swords symbolize the incisive forces of the intellect; they cut through to refocus the energy grown in the preceding suit of staves. Swords also symbolize the magical ability to transform painful situations into areas of personal growth. The story of Isis and her consort Osiris illustrates this principle beautifully. Because of Osiris’s tragic death, Isis was able to give birth to their son Horus, the most powerful of the Egyptian gods. Like Isis, we can choose how to use our swords. We can turn them against ourselves when we are in pain. Or we can transform the situation through knowledge and understanding.

MEANING:
News that brings sense to a situation. Messages, communications, often written. The ability to create influence, bring understanding, using the power of the word. Someone who personifies this role

Trouver un sens aux choses et aux évènements. Comme beaucoup de gens je trouve ça indispensable. Indispensable pour accepter les choses en tous cas. Bonnes ou mauvaises d'ailleurs. Mais peut-être ne devrais-je pas avoir besoin de trouver ce sens aux choses et aux évènements?
